After training as a chemical and civil engineer, Patel earned an MBA from Duke University. He developed strong business acumen to complement his technical skills and amassed more than 20 years of construction experience in the commercial, power, medical, hospitality, and pharmaceutical industries.

Patel first gained field experience at Turner Construction, where he quickly demonstrated strong project engineering skills, as well as exceptional client service. As project manager at Helm Builders, he learned how to run a profitable, sustainable commercial construction business. His work there inspired him to launch Research Triangle Construction, where he served biotech and hospitality clients. He later joined his partner to form Patel & Milewski Construction.

Patel has led multiple high-end and highly visible projects valued in excess of $200M—from strategic business planning and leadership to on-site project planning and execution—demonstrating considerable expertise in corporate interior projects, laboratory construction, and community space improvements.

With a focus on collaboration, he has overseen architectural and engineering services, scheduling, contractor coordination, resource allocation, budgeting, quality management, value engineering, and overall project management, as well as business development and contracting.

Patel has an impeccable record of delivering projects on or ahead of schedule with the highest safety standards—building new spaces quickly, on budget, and with minimal disruption to daily operations. By giving a high level of attention and care to each project, he enables his clients to save time and money.
